PICMG Technologies Showcase at GLOBALCOMM 2006 Highlights Products from 42 Member Companies

WAKEFIELD, Mass., May 11, 2006 – PICMG is continuing its public outreach program with a member technology booth at GLOBALCOMM™ 2006 at McCormick Place in Chicago on June 5-8, 2006. The PICMG Technologies Showcase booth will contain exhibits and products from 42 member companies that are built on PICMG specifications. Anyone considering building or using telecom infrastructure equipment based on open hardware specifications should visit the companies in the PICMG Technologies Showcase. PICMG specifications cover a range of open hardware implementations and include AdvancedTCA®, AdvancedMC™ and CompactPCI®, CompactPCI® Express, COM Express™ and SHB Express™.
