Blandford, England – 16 December 2009 – Telesoft Technologies announced it now offers free 2 month SIGTRAN lab licenses* to qualifying customers to speed migration of, or develop new, applications for next-generation networks.
Signaling transport (SIGTRAN) extends SS7 signaling from traditional PSTN to IP, 3G and LTE wireless networks using a unified architecture and allowing easy migration of applications to next-generation networks. Applications currently on Technologies’ MPAC Telephony Boards use the same layer 4 protocol stacks and APIs as the TDAPI SIGTRAN Stack ensuring fast re-configuration.
Unlike some other vendors, the software-only TDAPI SIGTRAN Stack provides unrestricted throughput of SS7-based signaling protocols. It supports three key node types: application server, IP signaling point and signaling gateway. TDAPI software is an easy to use C-based API for telecom application developers.
For telecom-grade high-availability systems the SIGTRAN Stack optionally includes the C-CURE API, allowing 99.999% operational reliability by eliminating single points of failure and avoiding service downtime.
