Rittal Launches New System for Fast Delivery of Modular IT Enclosures and Accessories

− To accommodate the varied and urgent needs of IT environments, Rittal Corp. has launched Rittal XPress, a new system for the fast delivery of modular IT enclosures and accessories. Unique and flexible, Rittal XPress enables customers to match their specifications to various configurations of Rittal's TS8 enclosures, along with a variety of accessories. The Rittal XPress system is available in two programs – 1-Day for customer-configured cabinets and 3-Day for Rittal-installed and ready-to-use enclosures.

With the Rittal XPress 1-Day Program, customers choose the cabinet that fits their requirements and then select sidewalls, shelves, fans, cable management, PDUs/power strips, single-phase UPS systems or other accessories for their applications. Ready-to-configure enclosures and accessories are then shipped within 24 hours.

The Rittal XPress 3-Day Program allows customers to choose their cabinet size, door and roof options, and then select the appropriate accessories. Rittal installs the selected accessories in the customers' preferred locations and then ships the ready-to-use units in just three days.

Enclosures available with the Rittal XPress system include the newly redesigned TS8 networking and server cabinets, available in various sizes. Among the features and benefits of these enclosures are:

• Maximum internal volume for footprint

• Maximum load bear capacity of 1,451 kg (3,200 lb)

The cabinets feature split rear doors, saving valuable space within data centers and wiring closets.
