Now available: The Kontron Embedded Computing Product Guide 2010

Eching, Germany, April 13, 2010 – With over 130 pages, the new Kontron Product Guide offers a comprehensive overview of over 300 products and Kontron value-added services including custom design and manufacturing for OEMs. The number of featured products has increased by 30% over last year and includes COTS boards and mezzanines, Computer-on-Modules, HMIs and displays, systems and platforms.

The new catalog offers key vertical markets such as industrial automation, communications, medical, energy, infotainment, transportation and military a comprehensive portfolio of board and system solutions. In the high-performance segment, new solutions have been added based on the latest Intel® Core™ i7 processor series across several product lines including VPX, AdvancedMC™,CompactPCI® and COM Express™. With these new products Kontron enhances its rugged portfolio for the transportation, military and medical markets with an emphasis on compact solutions.

In addition to the standard product portfolio, customers also receive expanded information on Kontron's extensive customization and ODM services, which are offered worldwide for Computer-on-Module carrier board designs and SBCs up to integrated embedded systems and application-ready platforms. Furthermore, as announced at Embedded World, Kontron has broadened its in-house software design services, which are now bundled into the global software design center, optimizing customer applications and time-to-market.
