Telesoft Technologies Doubles Telephony Board Monitoring Density

3 months 4 weeks away
(EMBARGOED)

Blandford, England, 9th June, 2008 - Telesoft Technologies today released the MPAC® 5200 cPCI telephony board with double the monitoring capacity of the previous generation of boards. With 32 E1/T1 interfaces, equivalent to 16 full duplex monitored E1s, it is ideal for applications where a large number of bearer channels need to be monitored simultaneously, such as in Network Monitoring, Homeland Security & Intelligence markets.

The MPAC 5200 cPCI telephony board is designed for monitoring E1/T1 based fixed and mobile networks. With the same footprint as the MPAC 2416, yet double the port density, the MPAC 5200 is a highly cost effective board for monitoring systems capable of simultaneously monitoring up to 1024 signalling & bearer channels.

“This board is ideal for Government, Law Enforcement Agencies and System Integrators involved in network monitoring for OSS, Lawful Interception and the provision of numerous value added services,” said Gary Barter, Ansty & Telephony Boards Product Manager, Telesoft Technologies. “It will reduce cost in chassis requirements, space and operational power consumption.”

The MPAC 5200 cPCI telephony board is particularly suited to high density E1/T1 SS7 monitoring in GSM and CDMA mobile networks supporting 128 simplex, (64 duplex), low speed SS7 signalling links. Other features include DTMF and Voice Activity Detection on all channels and the ability to be controlled via the local PCI bus or remotely booted via the 100BaseT Ethernet interface.

The monitoring card, combined with Telesofts TDAPI software, can provide either a raw MSU feed of all messages, or fully decoded messages. The board supports many different PSTN & PLMN protocols and interfaces including MAP, ISUP, CAMEL, A Interface and Abis with a wide variety of country variants already developed and deployed throughout the world.

The announcement of the MPAC 5200 cPCI telephony board coincides with at the ISS World Asia Pacific Conference in Singapore this week but is already available to customers. To purchase please contact your local sales representative.
